  • 1 pound (450g) ground pork sausage
  • 1 pound (450g) bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 4 ounces (113g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120g) sour cream
  • 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups (200g) shredded cheddar cheese, separated
  • 1 (30-ounce/850g) package frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and well drained
  • 1 (1-ounce/28g) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and chopped bacon, cooking until both are browned and cooked through. Remove from heat, drain off any excess grease, and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sour cream until creamy and lump-free. Whisk in the milk and eggs, followed by the ranch seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until everything is fully blended.
