Fruity Pebbles French Toast

 Crunchy French Toast is a twist on classic french toast with a crispy Fruity Pebbles cereal coating. Perfect for a lazy Saturday breakfast!

Fruity Pebbles French Toast


  • 8 slices thickly sliced bread like brioche or texas toast
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups Fruity Pebbles
  • Pinch salt
  • Whipped cream and syrup for serving


  1. Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat (325-350˚F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar (if using), vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until well combined. Transfer to a shallow baking dish. Fill another shallow dish with the fruity pebbles.
  3. Place each slice of bread into the egg mixture, soaking each side for 20-30 (5-6 seconds) seconds. Then dip in the Fruity Pebbles, pressing gently into each side.
  4. Lightly butter or spray the griddle/pan with cooking oil.
  5. Place bread slices on griddle/pan and cook 3-4 minutes on both sides until golden brown, adjusting heat as necessary to avoid burning.
  6. Top with whipped cream or syrup for serving.
