Keto Cheesy Sausage & Peppers


  • 1 1/2 pounds Italian Sausage sliced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper Sliced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper Sliced
  • 1/2 Medium Onion Sliced
  • 2 tbsp Beef Broth
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
Keto Cheesy Sausage & Peppers


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cook the sausage in an ovenproof skillet over medium high heat on the stove until completely cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, add the vegetables to the skillet and saute until just becoming tender. Remove and set aside.
  • Drain the grease from the skillet.
  • Add the beef broth to the skillet to deglaze it.
  • Whisk in the heavy whipping cream, tomato paste, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Saute until the sauce thickens.
  • Stir in the parmesan cheese.
  • Add the meat and vegetables back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
